Deana Muegge
Office Administrator
Jonesboro, Blytheville, Trumann, Paragould and West Memphis office
Deana Joined Higginbotham Family Dental in 2007 assuming managerial duties for all office locations. Having many years experience since 1994 as an office, financial, and Public Relations Coordinator, Deana was well prepared for this role. Deana is married to Kerry Muegge and they have two children, Lori and Sarah. Deana enjoys spending time with her two beautiful granddaughters, Averi Grace and Bentley Ann, and enjoying outdoor activities with her family. Lai Ferrell
Marketing, Public Relations Director
Jonesboro, Blytheville, Trumann, Paragould and West Memphis office
Lai Ferrell has been with Higginbotham Family Dental since 2007. She began her marketing career at St. Bernards Healthcare in the marketing department, so her primary focus since graduation has been in healthcare. She obtained her BS from Arkansas State University and her Masters in Business Administration/Healthcare Management from the University of Phoenix. As Marketing/PR Director of Higginbotham Family Dental, Lai is responsible for overseeing marketing, public relations, and advertising for the five dental clinics and the entire counties they serve. In addition to business development, Lai creates the artwork for all the marketing efforts and coordinates special events, both externally and internally. She helps guide the marketing and charitable budget and internal marketing. She is a member of the Jonesboro Young Professionals Network. Lai is also the Executive Director for the Non-profit Organization sponsored by Higginbotham Family Dental. Lai resides in Jonesboro with her husband Doug and they have one dog, Tia. Tiffany Creecy
Finance Controller-Jonesboro, Blytheville, Trumann, Paragould and West Memphis Office
Tiffany Creecy joined Higginbotham Family Dental in 2011 as the Financial Controller. She began her career in medical finances in 2005 and is responsible for overseeing the financial reporting, auditing, and accounts payable duties for Higginbotham Family Dental. She obtained her Business Finance degree from Williams Baptist College, where she also played college softball. Tiffany is married to Adam Creecy and they have one daughter, Linley. Kellie Ashlock

Kellie Ashlock joined Higginbotham Family Dental in 2011. She resides in Marked Tree, AR with her husband, Ford. Kellie is a proud mom to her two boys, Gavin and Hudson. In her spare time, she enjoys shopping, any activity outdoors, and most of all spending time with her family. Kellie looks forward to meeting you, and helping with any financial arrangements you may need.
Brittany Brandon

Brittney joined Higginbotham Family Dental in August of 2011. She resides in Caraway with her husband, Hunter, and her daughter, Kendall. Lindsey Barker

Lindsey Barker has been with Higginbotham Family Dental since June 2011. She resides in Paragould with her husband Eric. They have two beautiful children together, Millie and Gavin. Lindsey has experience in finance since 2008 from another doctor’s office. As a Financial Coordinator in the Paragould office, she will be happy to answer any questions regarding your insurance benefits or financial needs.

Heather Dix joined Higginbotham Family Dental in May of 2012as Financial Coordinator for the Jonesboro office. She was born and raised in Jonesboro and currently resides in the Valley View area with her husband, Brandon, and two boys, Brody and Bryson. She enjoys spending time with her very energetic boys. Meredith Smith McMillon
Insurance Coordinator-Paragould
Meredith (Smith) McMillon has been with Higginbotham Family Dental since April of 2012. She has had over 10 years experience in the medical field including pharmaceuticals, dental, and medical healthcare. She is a graduate of Greene County Tech High School and has attended college at Black River Technical College and Arkansas State University majoring in business. Her hometown is Walcott, AR but she currently resides in Paragould with her husband, Zack McMillon. She has two dogs: a Rottweiler named Ozzie, and a Miniature Schnauzer named Rowdy. Misti Ross joined the practice in April of 2010. She resides in Jonesboro and is married to her high school sweet heart Jonathan. Together they have two daughters Jordan and Macy. Shelly Hurst
Insurance Verification Coordinator-All offices
Shelly was born in Oklahoma but grew up in Jonesboro and graduated from Jonesboro High School. She has 11 years experience in medical insurance and billing. As the Insurance Verification Coordinator she will verify all patients’ insurances to make sure eligibility and benefits are accurate in our system so we can give our patients the best estimate possible. In her spare time she enjoys going to the river, cooking out, and spending time with friends and family.
Mari Pinedo

Mari Pinedo has been with Higginbotham Family Dental since April of 2012. She is a graduate of Williams Baptist College majoring in Business Administration. Her hometown is Cabot, Arkansas but she currently resides in Jonesboro. As Patient Coordinator for the Jonesboro office, Mari schedules and confirms appointments and makes sure all documents are up-to-date in patient files. Elizabeth Kennett
Hygiene Coordinator-Paragould, Jonesboro, Blytheville, West Memphis and Trumann Office
Elizabeth Kennett has been with Higginbotham Family Dental since April 2011. She obtained her Bachelor Degree at Arkansas State University in Business Marketing/Management. She resides in Jonesboro with her Fiance Cord and son Luke. As patient coordinator for the Jonesboro office, Elizabeth schedules and confirms all appointments and makes sure all documents are scanned into patient files. Amber Murray
Clinical Manager
Amber Murray received her dental assistant license from the Northeast Arkansas Dental Assistant School in 2006 and started her career at Higginbotham Family Dental in February 2007 as a registered dental assistant. As a dental assistant Amber works with all five dentists when needed and performs all dental assistant duties. She is responsible for ordering all the dental supplies for all five locations and acts as the liaison to the dental supply representatives. Courtney Brech
Registered Dental Assistant
Courtney Brech graduated from Northeast Arkansas Dental Assistant School in 2006. She joined the Higginbotham Family Dental Team in 2008 and mainly assists Dr. Higginbotham at all four locations but will assist the other dentists when needed. Besides assisting she is also responsible for the implant and Invisalign orders for all five offices. Courtney is also certified to assist in IV Sedation procedures. Sonya Standley
Registered Dental Assistant
Sonya Standley attended dental assistant school at Cotton Boll Technical School in Burdette, Arkansas and graduated in 2003. She has been a dental assistant since 2003 and joined the Higginbotham Family Dental Team in 2008. She works on a rotating schedule at all five locations with all the dentists when needed. Sonya is from West Memphis and is a graduate of West Memphis High School. She currently resides in Arbyrd, Missouri with her husband, Lonnie, and they have two sons, Travis and Cody. Courtney Shumate has been with Higginbotham Family Dental since June 2008. She attended Arkansas Northeastern College for Registered Dental Assisting. Courtney is a wife and mother to one daughter. Jennifer Owen

Jennifer Owen has been a valuable employee with Higginbotham Family Dental since March 2011 and has been a registered dental assistant since 2007. Jennifer resides in Marion, AR with her husband and two children. In Jennifer's spare time she enjoys spending time with her family and friends. Jennifer is happy to help others in reaching and maintaining their goal of having a healthy, beautiful smile.
Dana Burroughs
Registered Dental Assistant
Dana has been a dental assistant since 2008. She started
with the Higginbotham Family Dental team in 2011, after getting married in August and
relocating to Jonesboro with her family. She has a wonderful husband,
Jon and a son, Gavin. They attend Jonesboro First Assembly
of God church. While originally from Hot Springs, Dana loves Northeast
Arkansas and will be happy to help you with any dental concerns.
Rachel Hughes

Rachel Hughes has been with Higginbotham Family Dental since July 2011. She graduated from Cotton Bowl Technical Institute in 1999. Since her graduation she has assisted in dental offices in Arkansas, Missouri and California. She lives in Walcott with her husband and two children. Angela Barron CDA
Certified Dental Assistant
Angela is from Greer, South Carolina. She obtained her credentials from Greenville Technical College in Greenville, South Carolina in 1993 and has been in the field since that time. Angela is a CDA (certified dental assistant), and she is certified by the Dental Assisting National Board. She has been with Higginbotham Family Dental since June 2012. Angela looks forward to serving the people of the communities we serve and enjoys time with her husband Jeff and their two children Kaleigh and Tristen.
Shannon Davis-Mason
Registered Dental Assistant
Shannon has been in the dental field since 2001, and employed at Higginbotham Family Dental since February 2012. She lives in Paragould with her husband and their three children. She attends Southside Community Church and enjoys crafts, cooking, and laying in the pool.
Emily Lacy
Registered Dental Assistant
Emily has been with Higginbotham family dental since January 2012. Emily attended ANC in 2007 where she received her license as a registered dental assistant and has been a RDA for 5 years. Emily is originally from Joiner, Arkansas but is currently living in Paragould with her husband Dillon. Emily is an avid Hogs fan and enjoys hunting in her spare time. Michelle Schmidt
Registered Dental Hygienist
Michelle Schmidt has been with Higginbotham Family Dental since 2006. She obtained her under-graduate degree at the University of Central Arkansas in Conway, AR then continuing education at the University of Medical Sciences in Little Rock, AR where she received her BA in Dental Hygiene. Michelle is a full-time clinical hygienist with main interest in preventing and treating periodontal disease. She also oversees the ordering for the hygiene supplies for all offices. Michelle volunteers for the American Cancer Society and is the silent auction chairperson for the Relay for Life in Jonesboro. She is a member of Cornerstone United Methodist Church. She resides in Jonesboro with her husband Steve, and has 2 children, Blake and Andrea and grandaughter, Sadie.
Jessica Bruce
Registered Dental Hygienist
Jessica Bruce began her career as a hygienist in 2007 with Higginbotham Family Dental. She attended Arkansas State University where she danced on the ‘A-Team’ and received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Chemistry in 2005. She then moved to Kansas City and attended the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Dentistry where she earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Dental Hygiene in 2007. She rotates throughout all five offices. Jessica is a member of the American Dental Hygienists Association, the Arkansas State Dental Hygienists’ Association, and is licensed to practice dental hygiene in Arkansas, Missouri and Tennessee. Jessica was the team captain for the 2010 Higginbotham Family Dental Relay for Life team with the American Cancer Society. Jessica and her dog Macy live in Paragould. Lindsay Poe
Registered Dental Hygienist
Lindsey Poe started her career as a dental hygienist at Higginbotham Family Dental in June of 2011. She obtained her undergraduate degree at East Arkansas Community College in Forrest City, Arkansas before attending the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in Little Rock, where she received her Bachelor of Science in dental hygiene in May of 2011. After graduating, Lindsey moved from Forrest City to Jonesboro and joined the Higginbotham family dental team. She rotates throughout all five offices and is a member of the American Dental Hygiene Association and the Arkansas State Dental Hygienists' Association. Ashlee Riley

Ashlee Riley attended Arkansas State University and majored in biology before attending the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in Little Rock, Arkansas, where she received her Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene in May 2008. After graduating, Ashlee moved back to Northeast Arkansas and joined the Higginbotham Family Dental Team. She rotates through all five offices and is licensed to practice dental hygiene in Arkansas and Tennessee. She is a member of the American Dental Hygiene Association and the Arkansas State Dental hygienists’ Association. Ashlee currently lives in Jonesboro and is a member of Walnut Street Baptist Church. Raeann Carter

RaeAnn Carter started her career at Higginbotham Family Dental in August 2009. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Dental Hygiene from the University of Tennessee Health Sciences Center in Memphis. She is an active member of the American Dental Hygiene Association. RaeAnn is experienced in treating periodontal disease, teeth whitening and helping you maintain your overall oral health. She is a native of Batesville, AR, but now resides in Jonesboro, AR with her husband Jon. Her hobbies include spending time with her family, shopping and traveling. Madison Daniel
Registered Dental Hygienist
Madison was born and raised in Jonesboro, Arkansas. She attended the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville for three years prior to moving to Kansas City, Missouri. Madison attended the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Dentistry where she received her Bachelor of Science degree in Dental Hygiene in May of 2011. She returned back to Jonesboro and joined Higginbotham Family Dental in June 2011. She is a member of the American Dental Hygienist’s Association, and she is a member of First Baptist Church in Jonesboro. Madison is eager to get to know you and discuss any oral health care concerns.
Dana Wiltfang
Registered Dental Hygienist
Dana has been in the dental profession for 27 years. She is a registered dental hygienist and has practiced for the past 15 years. She is a graduate from Fresno City College Dental Hygiene Department in Fresno, California. Dana is an active member with the American Dental Hygiene Association. She served 13 years on the advisory boards at Fresno City College and San Joaquin Valley College Dental Hygiene Departments. When moving here from Hanford, California, she joined Higginbotham Family Dental in September 2011. Her passion is dental hygiene, treating patients and educating patients in their dental concerns. Dana resides in Osceola, AR with her husband Jon and son Justin. She enjoys gardening, watching her son play sports and traveling to California to visit her two other sons Bryce, Blake and her family.
Chelsey Gray
Registered Dental Hygienist
Chelsey has been working in the dental field since 2007. She worked as a registered dental assistant for 3 years and decided to further her education and become an registered dental hygienist. Chelsey earned her Associate of Applied Science degree in dental hygiene while attending Concorde Career College in Memphis, TN. She started her career at Higginbotham Family Dental in January of 2012 as an assistant. She is now one of our full time dental hygienist at our Blytheville location. Chelsey is an active member of the American Dental Hygiene Association and enjoys serving our community in helping them have a healthy, beautiful smile.
