Dr. Sean Fitzhugh, DDS, grew up in the Memphis area, where his love of dentistry was sparked by his father, who was also a dentist. Additionally, his older brother is a dentist at Higginbotham Family Dental. Consequently, they have the unique benefit of consulting each other on patients and treatment plans. This familial connection has significantly influenced Sean’s approach to dentistry, fostering a supportive and collaborative environment.
After graduating from Christian Brothers High School, Sean Fitzhugh attended the University of Alabama and then the University of Memphis. As a result of his hard work, he graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science. Furthermore, he continued his education at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center, earning his Doctor of Dental Surgery. To enhance his skills, he completed an advanced education in General Dentistry at the Spartanburg Regional-The Foundry in Bessemer, Alabama. Therefore, he became proficient in IV sedation, implant placement, surgical extractions, bone grafting, and full mouth rehabilitation.
Outside of his professional life, Dr. Sean Fitzhugh enjoys spending time outdoors and dining at local restaurants with friends and family. He is excited to meet new patients and build lifelong friendships. Moreover, he is particularly eager to help those with dental anxiety and fears, utilizing his extensive training in sedation, implants, and extractions to provide the necessary dental care. Consequently, Sean is dedicated to ensuring his patients receive the best possible treatment in a comfortable and reassuring environment.
