Meet Dr. Chris Marshall: Our Expert Dentist in Jonesboro, AR

Dr. Chris Marshall grew up in Springdale, Arkansas and went to the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville, where he attained his Bachelor’s degree in 2015. He went to the University of Tennessee College of Dentistry in Memphis and graduated in 2020.

Dr. Marshall chose dentistry as his profession because his grandfather is a retired dentist and inspired him to pursue the same career. He gained experience when he was an undergraduate, by being his grandfather’s dental assistant on a part-time basis. He enjoyed getting experience while being a dental assistant; from getting people out of pain, to transforming someone’s smile completely. This is when his passion for dentistry really grew.

He is currently engaged to Dr. Ashton Monks, DDS, and they have a pet Maltese named Pearl. His hobbies include spending time with his family, cheering on the Arkansas Razorbacks, golfing, bowling, and going to the movies. They currently reside in Memphis, Tennessee, and are members of Harvest Church.

Just move into Jonesboro. First morning wake with what turned into abscess tooth. I was recommended Higginbotham by a local. I was on time; they were prompt. Kristina me to a cubicle took full x-rays quickly, painlessly and efficiently. Only a minute or two went by before the doctor came in with treatment options. Like Kristina, he was succinct and knowledgeable. Friendly atmosphere that made one think they understand going to a dentist is not the highlight of your day, but they would make it as pleasant as humanly possible
