Teeth Whitening Before and After

Choosing the Best Method

At Higginbotham Family Dental, our team will help find the best whitening method for you. Some patients choose our Zoom! Whitening method because it can achieve a whiter smile up to 8 shades!! The Zoom! Treatment consists of hydrogen peroxide gel and a UV light to activate the gel. This treatment is done in 4 sessions and can take 1.5-2 hours of chair-time. Our next Whitening treatment is our Quick Pro. Quick Pro is just 10-15 minutes of chair time and can get your teeth up to 4 shades whiter. Like the Zoom! Treatment, Quick Pro also uses hydrogen peroxide gel but does not require UV light. We also offer take-home trays and whitening pens at our office.

At-Home Whitening Trays

We offer at-home whitening trays! At your cleaning appointment, let your hygienist know that you are interested in the at-home trays, and they will get you started. The hygienist or their assistant will take compressions and get a mold of your teeth to create custom trays. You will also be supplied with whitening gel. The trays and gel are FREE if you maintain your 6-month cleaning appointments!

How much does it cost to get your teeth whitened by a dentist?

Since teeth whitening is a cosmetic procedure, most dental insurance providers do not cover the costs.  Our in-office whitening treatments starts at $99+. You can give us a call for more information on our in-office whitening treatments! And, like we stated above, our take-home whitening trays are free!

What To Know:

  1.  Whitening is not permanent. You will need to maintain your treatment by using whitening trays or the whitening pen periodically that we offer. Also, try to avoid drinking anything that can stain your teeth.
  2. This procedure should not be used during pregnancy or lactating mothers.
  3. Your teeth must be decay free!
  4. Crowns, Veneers, and other restorations cannot be whitened.
