Career for Insurance Coordinators and Insurance Team

We have several careers for our insurance coordinators or on our insurance team. Our Insurance department consists of insurance coordinators in the office, as well as insurance support staff in our business office. The support staff consists of revenue cycle coordinators, Insurance Director and her assistants, and insurance verification clerks. Each area of our insurance department has a director to help answer questions and mentor them.

Job Title: Insurance Coordinator

Job Description: Insurance coordinators at an office will arrive on time, attend the morning huddle, and begin their daily duties. They will mark in each appointment what the patient is eligible for according to their insurance benefits breakdown. They will update the patient chart with insurance updates and notes. Furthermore, they will file claims for patients and send any additional information requested or necessary for an appeal for payment. They will assist with answering phone calls, texts, and emails. They may also assist scheduling coordinators with checking patients in. Also, they may assist treatment coordinators on providing dental treatment estimates to patients and collecting estimated co-pays.

We want all employees to make sure the patient is their number one priority while giving them the best dental experience. Pay is based on experience with opportunity for yearly raises and monthly bonuses.

Insurance Coordinator Qualifications:

  • Clerical experience required
  • Dental experience and knowledge preferred
  • Insurance knowledge and experience preferred
  • Detail oriented
  • Great work ethic
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Must be a team player and work well with others

In this fast-paced role, you will play a key part in ensuring smooth operations across all our locations by verifying insurance policies efficiently and accurately.

Strong communication skills and the ability to multitask effectively are essential for this role. In addition to verifying insurance, you will collaborate with our team and support our Administrative Operations Directors with any additional insurance-related tasks that may arise.

Job Title: Revenue Cycle Coordinator

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Revenue Cycle Coordinator to manage and streamline the financial operations of our practice.
Job description and  Responsibilities include:
– Aging Reports: Ensure timely and accurate completion of aging reports, monthly statements, and account audits. Handle account adjustments and process accounts for collections.
– Insurance/Guarantor Notes: Document all insurance updates and patient communication in detail to maintain accurate records.
– Patient Contact: Use phone, text, and email for patient communication to collect balances, with detailed notes in the system. Complete monthly statements for all locations.
– Claims & Reporting: Monitor office claims progress and employee performance, ensuring standards are met using analytics tools like Inside Desk and Power BI.
– Time Management: Complete all daily tasks efficiently, staying ahead of deadlines.
– Conflict Resolution: Professionally handle patient and co-worker issues to maintain a productive and positive work environment.
– Professionalism & Punctuality: Maintain a professional appearance, adhere to work schedules, and avoid unprofessional behavior or social media during work hours.
