Each office has its own insurance coordinator. Our Insurance coordinators have a support staff at our Jonesboro Administrative office. They have insurance verifiers and insurance assistants that post all insurance payments. Each department also has a manager and director as part of their support staff. Insurance coordinators at each office will arrive on time, attend the morning huddle, and begin their daily duties. They will mark in each appointment what the patient is eligible for according to their insurance benefits breakdown. They will update the patient chart with insurance updates and notes. Furthermore, they will file claims for patients and send any additional information requested or necessary for an appeal for payment. They will assist with answering phone calls, texts, and emails. They may also assist patient coordinators with checking patients in. Also, they may assist financial coordinators on providing dental treatment estimates to patients and collecting estimated co-pays after insurance has paid.
