Career for Insurance Coordinators In Dentistry

Our Insurance coordinators have a support staff at our Jonesboro Administrative office. They have a revenue cycle department and insurance verifiers that verify and post all insurance payments. Each department also has a managers as part of their support staff. Insurance coordinators at an office will arrive on time, attend the morning huddle, and begin their daily duties. They will mark in each appointment what the patient is eligible for according to their insurance benefits breakdown. They will update the patient chart with insurance updates and notes. Furthermore, they will file claims for patients and send any additional information requested or necessary for an appeal for payment. They will assist with answering phone calls, texts, and emails. They may also assist scheduling coordinators with checking patients in. Also, they may assist treatment coordinators on providing dental treatment estimates to patients and collecting estimated co-pays.

We want all employees to make sure the patient is their number one priority while giving them the best dental experience. Pay is based on experience with opportunity for yearly raises and monthly bonuses.

Insurance Coordinator Qualifications

  • Clerical experience required
  • Dental experience and knowledge preferred
  • Insurance knowledge and experience preferred
  • Detailed oriented
  • Great work ethic
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Must be a team player and work well with others
