Dental Implants and Crowns

Are you in need of Implants and crowns?
Implants are the closest thing to a strong, natural tooth, with both a root and a crown. Many general dentists don’t place implants, but HFD dentists and dental teams have studied and become certified in dental implant placement, for the convenience of our patients. The dental implant process will involve placing a small titanium post in the socket left by a missing tooth during oral surgery. Titanium is bio-compatible, so jawbone tissue grows onto the post, creating a strong anchor for a dental crown. Once the area has healed properly, a dental crown or plate will be placed on top of the titanium post. Depending on how many implants you are having placed, you’ll soon have a strong, gorgeous smile! Implants can replace one or more missing teeth. You can learn more by scheduling a personal consultation at one of our dental offices. Dental implants can restore the quality of life, and with proper care, they can last a lifetime! Visit Higginbotham Family Dental if you’re in need of implants!
